十字骨架的作用

在雙絞線中，十字骨架通常指的線纜內部的一個結構，大部分的六類網線是含有十字骨架的，當這並不是辨別六類網線的唯一標準。

十字骨架的作用

六類網線的4對線芯置於十字骨架的4個凹槽中，保持了4對線芯的先對位置，有利於減少線對間的串擾問題，同時可以提高電纜的平衡特性。

與超五類網線相比，六類網線在布線技術上有一定的難度，這是由於六類網線導體大小比超五類網線粗，且內部有十字骨架，所以在內徑20mm的線管以放2根六類線為主，防止線纜相互纏繞。

六類網線主要是傳輸千兆網絡，要搭配千兆交換機，千兆路由器才能使用。搭配百兆交換機和百兆路由器只能傳輸百兆網絡。
